Wood grain finishes on aluminum in Singapore
The naturalistic vision, in full accordance with the context and landscape, led to the choice of materials that are close to nature. The aluminium sunshades applied on the building facade were decorated with Decoral wood grain finishes to ensure harmony with nature.
Decoral intervention
The facade composed of the aluminum sunshades was made by Starcoat Sg, a partner company in Singapore. The wood grain finish on aluminum was obtained through the sublimation process, using special powder coatings and heat-transfer films.
Such process results in a product that is highly resistant to weather and UV rays and retains its appearance and properties over time without deteriorating.
In this article, we provide you an insight into the wood grain finishes on aluminum and the decoration process.
VOC-free powder coatings
When we develop wood-effect finishes on aluminium, we always think about human health and nature. Decoral finishes, in fact, are eco-friendly since they do not emit volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The recycling process of over sprayed powder also reduces the environmental impact.
