Wood-effect aluminium for façade cladding and brise soleil
This solution is becoming more and more common since it protects the building from sun and weathering while enhancing its look.
Aluminium panels and profiles can be anodized to get different colours like:
- gold
- steel
- titanium
- powder-coated to obtain textured, rust or metallic effects
- decorated by sublimation technique with wood, marble, corten patterns or custom images.
For this project in Milan, the designer opted for aluminium profiles decorated with light oak finish certified for outdoor use.
