The second Palacrociere terminal in Savona has a total surface of 3,500 m².

It is a “satellite” terminal, functionally connected to the existing maritime station. Therefore, it offers the opportunity to use the services of the first Palacrociere but, at the same time, it is completely autonomous, with waiting, transit and luggage deposit areas. The control system is also independent, with Police, Finance Police and Customs Agency stations. The designer of the second terminal is Studio Vicini Architetti (Luigi Vicini and Andrea Piazza architects), which already designed Palacrociere and Palacruceros of Barcelona.

The Palacrociere of Savona has been certified B.E.S.T. 4 (Business Excellence Sustainable Task) by RINA, a complex system focused on Social Responsibility, Environment, Security and Quality. The 3-storey building, located in the heart of the harbor close to the historical centre, consists of circular metal columns and glazed units which create a luminous effect.

Decoral^® Group has applied a RAL 9010 semi-gloss Class 1 powder to the aluminium partitions of the façade.
